Office Automation

EKiosk©
EKiosk© is a powerful data collection and mining instrument, which may
be used to improve Office Automation, in addition to collecting Outcomes
Data. This can be accomplished in a small or large group, single
practice or multi-specialty practice. We initially focused on Patient
Driven Outcomes because of the great need for simple inexpensive data
collection. At the same time, however, the same tools may be utilized to
collect patient demographic data from a Kiosk or pen tablet rather than
paper. This may eliminate the intermediate need for office personnel
to enter data from paper in a significant percentage of patients. It
is also easy to input physician data linked to the same patient demographic database.
EKiosk© may also be used for Patient Education, as well as Demographic,
Medical, and Outcomes Data.

MedAutoExport©

MedAutoExport© is the
connection link between native
office billing systems and
EMedOutcomes©/Ekiosk©. The
primary function of this
component is to maintain a
patient demographic database
in SQL, using data previously
entered into your billing
system.
This saves you both time and
money in repetitious data
entry, and has the added
advantage of allowing a means
of secure access for patients
to begin entering Outcomes
Data. The patient
database created is ODBC
compliant, allowing Electronic
Medical Record connections as
well.
MedAutoExport© was built to run either on a Kiosk itself, or on any workstation.
It should not be installed on the server on which your medical billing software
resides. This is because many older billing systems utilize "file locking"
which does not allow an outside program access to the patient list.
Instead we use Windows to copy the
patient list file through the
network, and update the
patient list and demographics
on the import machine allowing
for current information and
secure log-on to the
EMedOutcomes® Database.
Additionally, Electronic
Medical Records systems can
seamlessly access your patient
data which has been converted.
The ultimate result is a huge
savings in personnel time and
money. Patient data need
be entered only once, and
hence is accessible for data
analysis and secure patient
log on. We have created
MedAutoExport© to import
demographic data from Medical
Manager®. If you have
another billing system,
please find out where the
patient list and doctor list
files reside, and the path to
your server. With a
simple map of the patient and
doctor list, mapping can
easily be made to allow the
demographic links to be
maintained and intact.
MedBillAnalysis©
This program takes Medical Manager®
data exported from your native billing system and converts all
Billing and Demographics data and allows you to query your own data using
powerful SQL. This creates a true Practice Management System out of
your current Medical Manager without necessitating changing your billing
system. Data has to be Exported via MedAutoExport, but when you purchase
MedBillAnalysis, this includes MedAutoExport as well. Screen below is
an example of the powerful interface, which includes date ranges, patient
and physician information, and Payment and Procedure History.

X-Ray Manager©
This program automates X-Ray Processing, by creating patient
logs, film logs, and associated doctor and film jacket logs. It tracks
patient shielding, and films taken, including number and size of films used.
Reports are easily generated to track films checked in or out of the office,
patient shielding and film use by doctor. The information is easily
entered with a few mouse clicks, and all of the necessary data is printed on
an address label which is flashed for the X-Ray labeling and is also used to label
the film jacket. There are multiple cost and time efficiencies
afforded, and the end result is higher X-Ray technician efficiency and productivity, and
the elimination of paper records and cumbersome documentation. Because this is
also linked to the patient billing system, the patient list is easily
accessed and the patient is brought up by typing in a few letters of their last
name. The program may stand alone, or it may be used with MedAutoExport©. If used
without MedAutoExport, all new patient names with their date of
birth need to be typed in. Return visits will not require this because
this information will then be stored in the X-Ray Manager Database.
