Electronic Medical Records or Electronic
Health Records are swiftly becoming a necessity rather than a luxury, to
lower office costs, and improve patient care. Although we are
currently working on our own EMR project, our other programs are able to
connect to any modern EMR through native ODBC connections (Object
Database Controls). This is built into all Windows Operating
Systems since Windows 98. ODBC allows programs with unlike
Databases to be run concurrently and share data. Installation of our
programs creates ODBC connectivity.
MedAutoExport®
creates an ODBC compliant SQL database containing patient names
and associated demographics by importing the data from native billing
systems. The same database is seamlessly connected to any ODBC
compliant EMR, Xray Database such as
Xray Manager®,
or Validated Outcomes Measures EMedoutcomes®
to improve patient care and enable Physicians to collect data easily and
without added cost or burden, for Pay for
Performance Measures.
The ultimate outcome is minimal office
personnel time to input data, without duplicate entry required.
The Patient Database is utilized for HIPAA compliant logon for Patient
Navigation. EKiosk® even allows
patients to enter their own Demographic and Medical Information as a
powerful "front end" to any Electronic Medical Record system. This
allows patients to enter their own data without secondary input into
your computer system by office personnel.
